Don co-founded the agency in 1975, and served as the President and Agency Principal from 2002 to 2020. He has previously served on the board of directors for the Bank of Hillsboro and Meramec Valley Mutual Insurance Company, as well as the producer advisory councils of several insurance companies.
Don lives in Crystal City with Sandy, his wife of over fifty years. His son Tony is currently President of the agency, and he has three grandsons: Isaac, Samson and Leo.
Early Experience
Prior to 1975, Don was a Vice President at Crystal City State Bank, where he worked from 1969 to 1975. Don served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969, where he was decorated for heroism as a First Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers in Vietnam.
